Thanks for expressing interest and helping us plan Israel Cadet Trek 2016. Israeli and pic_04overseas friends will ride alongside Bet El’s Pre-IDF Prep Academy Cadets and experience a variety of military and Israel-based attractions and activities.

Like in IDF training, the trek will be an experience of team work and leadership. We’ll aspire to cycle in paceline (formation) by the third day, and we’ll work side-by-side as a group. Besides the challenge and sense of accomplishment that is part of any bike trek, Israel Cadet Trek participants will experience Zionism and the Land of Israel alongside future IDF fighters.

By filling out this survey, you will be actively participating in our “Steering Committee” and your answers will help determine the parameters of the Israel Cadet Trek. By answering the survey questions below, you will also be helping us build a much-needed “interested-persons profile”: (By answering, you are merely expressing interest and making no future commitments.)

Based on your answers, we may want to contact you to consult before our final decisions. Please provide all the info below to facilitate our ability to contact you.

  • Please rank by number which of the following routes you would prefer. (1 is most preferred. Leave blank a route that is absolutely not for you)
  • In the above 4 routes, the bike is the center of the activity. We are considering building a route where the focus is, like in IDF training, imparting the value of team cooperation and learning to work as a unit, while imparting our love of the Land of Israel. The bike would be the tool to get from place to place and, indeed, we would cover some 25-50 miles per day. But, we would add activities which are IDF-related and develop skills in team cooperation (See activities listed in next question). This activities will also inculcate Zionist values.
  • Which of the following activities would you like to include at stops on the bike trek?
